We comply with the Data Protection Act and the Access to Records Act. We take our responsibility to protect the confidentiality and security of personal information very seriously and make every effort to ensure that patient confidentiality is maintained at all times by all members of staff.
All staff working with us are subject to stringent confidentiality requirements and no information from your records will be released to third parties without your specific consent.
Your self-reported medical history is stored and encrypted in our medical database. A robust firewall exists to prevent unauthorised external access to the database and the database is backed up daily in line with national GDPR guidelines. Your paper medical records are securely locked away.
